Does God Inspire you to do things in your life? Paint, sing, help others? I have a hard time with the main stream notion that inspired writing no longer takes place. The bible was inspired writing, people wrote it, they saw angels, heard voices, had visions of figures speaking to them. Yet today, if someone is to write something and claim such, we see them as insane. Does that mean GOD just no longer is inspired to inspire us? Has God died? Does God no longer want to send out any messages? Is God depressed or has GOD just given up on us? Why was it and IS IT so accepted that the Bible was “inspired by GOD” yet we can not even fathom the notion that God could still be inspiring us today? Is it because we don’t chisel it out in stone anymore? What’s up? I think GOD is asking that same question, because I hear God and have visions of those giving me Gods' messages every day! Maybe the only reason the Bible became so famous is because there wasn’t a writing medium back then that was readily available, stone tablets were few and far between, so when future generations found them, it was a big deal. Possibly now days, writing is so common, no one takes notice.
I know GOD still sends messages and wants us to write them down, I know this because they awaken me from my sleep and come to me in many fashions. Sometimes it is a figure of a person, others it’s a song, sometimes it’s a dream and I have even had fire instances, like the burning bush. Sometimes it is a first hand experience with people and situations. Anyway it comes, there is one common thread, the message is always clear that I am to write it down. So, I do. Ive tried not to, Ive ran from this, Ive purposely made bad choices, in hopes that GOD or what ever entity was picking me for this would see me as “unworthy” to write these messages, but then I would just get more messages validating my worth, and be informed of how it isn’t about me anyway. I was raised in a Christian Church and know the teachings of the Bible. I believe in Jesus and I know the stories. What I was never told, was that this inspired writing still happens, GOD is still giving messages, right now, today. Yet No one seems to believe it happens. They want to yell BLASPHEMY, or act as if it is sacrilegious to even suggest such. Yes, it seems this is a totally unaccepted belief in todays main stream religions. Where does it say in the Bible that God will no longer send us messages, or that God no longer wishes for us to write down what is inspired or actual events and happenings as we experience them? Is our learning over? I don't recall seeing the words “the end” at the end of the bible. Are we just waiting for “the end”? Is that really what GOD would have us do with this beautiful life he has gifted us? Were we not given this life to live? Are we not still today, the eyes, ears and HANDS of GOD? Aren't we supposed to be GODS messengers? Are we already “all wise”? Looking at all the crime and hate that exists today, I think we have lots of learning and teaching left to do! Now I do believe, people can be mislead. If a message you receive has anything to do with hurting another or anything other than LOVE, then it is of your own making. One must know God will only send messages of pure love. There is no place for separation, hate, making anyone better or less than another. This is the qualifier so that you may know if what you are being directed to create is of GOD. If it has anything to do with any thing other than love, then its most likely inspired by ego. Having taught many computer classes, one thing most any educator can agree upon is that people learn in different ways. You can explain something and some understand while others do not. Knowing this, is it not logical that there may be many ways of wording GODs messages, of then and now? Maybe it needs to be said a million different ways, so that a billion different people might come to an understanding. Jesus told us he taught in parables, there must be a million parables that could be written, in reference to ONE bible message. Jesus also said, “as I do so can you and works greater than these”. Hmmmm, who has done “works greater”? Can we and should we not try to? I do not think Jesus would have said such if He did not intend on us to at least attempt to be as He was, do as he did and even MORE than He did. Jesus’s story alone would never survive today. If he were alive today, he would be shot the minute he trespassed to knock on a door and ask to stay there. Yet the bible states he was told to rely on strangers for housing and food and his needs, while he traveled about sharing his messages. He did not travel fancy, he walked on foot from town to town. How would a person who did that today be received? Yet, we think we need no more messages, the Bible is the be all and end all, but I guarantee if Jesus tried to do today, what he did then, he would be another of our homeless living on the streets. If people traveled with him telling stories of seeing angels and hearing voices, they would be admitted to the psych ward of the local hospital. With all of the advancements of this day and age, technology and industry, we still can not begin to believe GOD is speaking to us. Everything has advanced, we see it, we live with the advancements, yet we still have no belief and no faith in a GOD that not only interacts with us, but lives with in us and through us. The bible is the most owned book of all time, while we claim to believe what it says, we still disbelieve the very principles that created it. Simply put, the bible was created when ordinary men witnessed seeing and hearing messages of GOD. They then wrote down those accounts and still today, we claim to believe those accounts are true, yet we do not believe in the very medium that created the book in the first place. How does that make the least bit of sense?
